Safety and working alongside your medical team

Fertility acupuncture is complementary care. It does not replace advice from your GP, gynaecologist or fertility clinic, and it is not a guarantee of pregnancy.

At your consultation we ask about pregnancy status, medications, bleeding patterns and any investigations so treatment stays appropriate for you. If something needs medical review first, we will say so plainly.

Single-use sterile needles are used throughout. Most people find treatment deeply settling; mild tiredness afterwards is the most common short-term response.
